Our initial service is designed to eliminate pests on the inside and start knocking down adult populations on the exterior. We assess your current pest situation through a thorough inspection and discuss your unique needs to create a tailored approach to ending your pest problem. We also sweep the eaves and overhangs during the inspection to clear egg sacs, spider webs, and wasp nests.
Exclusion
Pest-proofing the home reduces the likelihood of future infestations. Here’s what’s included in the exclusion process of our residential pest control service.
- Entry points under an inch are sealed around plumbing, electrical, and other holes.
- We apply a preventative barrier around the home, focusing on entry points, windows, doors, eaves, and window wells.
- We bait and trap pests as needed.
- Wall voids and pressure-prone areas will receive targeted treatments to eliminate existing pests.
- Precise Crack & Crevice and Spot treatments ensure a pest-free interior, eliminating remaining spiders and pests.
We also target landscape transitions and materials because many pests come from mulch and plants and along the pest highways of rock and dividers in the yard. We go after pests in their environment to keep them away from your home.
Follow-Up
Regular service comes about four to six weeks after the initial service to break up the egg cycles. This is crucial for quickly reducing the pest populations that we initially targeted. Eggs are shielded and can hatch anywhere from a few weeks to several weeks later. This stage establishes control, while seasonal treatments maintain protection.
